The hob was only used for a couple of weeks before developing cracks on the plastic surrounding the induction plate. This happened after using at a high heat. Customer services were slow to respond but after numerous reminders, agreed to replace the hob. That was over 1 month ago and I still haven't received the replacement or a refund. Customer services are now totally ignoring me. I definitely would not trust this company.
Great product
Look great, very slim and heat up very fast. Very easy to control cooking with heat setting 0 to 99. Timer works well. Haven't bothered connecting to the Internet. I havec wo side by side and both plugged into thr same socket. Even on full power they work well so no heavy duty wiring needed. My only issue is on certain heat settings the pans either shake or make an high pitched sound. Bit frightening at first but if you adjust the pan it goes away..

Its great kit, the menu button are not easy to see in the light. I wished for more integration with Alexa for some commands. As a hob its slim, working great and looks great

Arrived very well packaged. Very good quality item which works faultlessly . Only a short term review as we've only used it a handful of times, so hopefully it will be long lasting.
We bought the TOKIT hob to replace a cheaper one from another manufacturer, and have been very pleased by how straightforward it was to use and that the power delivery is smooth- you barely notice any pulsing, making it possible to cook even porridge or scrambled eggs without burning, and simmering food like stews and soups is also easy. Fast boiling is also great at the maximum setting. Not sure we’ll ever use the Wi-Fi facility, though!
I really like the slim look of this unit & impressed by how quickly it heats up & how adjustable the power setting is (0-99).
love the induction hob very slim and lightweight.....easy to control using either the control knob on the unit or the app if you like that sort of thing best bit and the reason i wanted it is the fact it does not pulse....the power is steady even at the lowest setting which makes cooking control a joy....most induction hobs adjust the power and therefore heat at the pan by pulsing on and off which makes heat control very clunky....note the plug is european two round pins so you need an adaptor which are readily available from amazon....if this lasts long term i will buy another to use alongside this one
I bought one on amazon about 18m which recently died (pot boiled over so user error!). I immediately bought an replacement as its excellent. Its very slim, very light, and has intuitive control. Only negatives are EU plug atm (so I need to use an adapter as I'm UK) and its an little bit of an annoying ticking noise at low power levels

I like the ability to control the heat settings is the best induction heater I have had.
Design and quick heating are impressive.
I do love it, especially the fact that it really DOES maintain a steady heat at lower levels, whereas other models cycle the power on/off quite slowly. I do wish the increments were smaller when setting the temperature on the App. It jumps 5 Celsius at a time at lower heat settings. It goes up to 80C and then jumps straight to 110C. Any chance of fixing this with an App and firmware update?

I do quite a lot of cooking at low heat so I am delighted that the Tokit induction hob is fully controllable and allows simmering without burning the pan and contents. It is only designed for a maximum 20cm pan base which means I am unable to use some of my pans, however, so I'm having to be creative in how I cook. Unfortunately, despite trying numerous times, I have been unable to download and use the app as my wifi signal is weak and there seems to be no other way of accessing the information online.
To use the induction hob start with the timer and then set the heat setting. The heat setting should start from low to protect the pan from warping - it is possible to start from heat setting 99, but not desirable. What would be desirable is to be able to use temperature settings that SLOWLY control the heat for the outside temperature of the pan and have a longer timer for slow cooking (like 30 hours) - this should be considered for a future software/firmware update for cooking (not boiling water)
Fantastic product - it’s so controllable and worth the money. I had originally brought a cheap induction hob on Amazon and it just switches on and off to control the output. This product is so controllable and makes using it such a breeze.
Looks very smart and the large range of power settings is perfect for caravan based users.
This is great. I first purchased the Amazon best buy.. big mistake as it was uncontrollable.. could not simmer and fried my scrambled egg in about 30 seconds at lowest power. Did my research and went for this and it does more or less what I want it to.. heat is very controllable at the lower end and can heat very quickly when you need to. My main grouse is that you can not set it to temperature and use the automation, only to power unless you use the app,. the menu button looks promising but only gets you to wireless setup.. the app was a bit of hit and miss to get up and running: it does work well but seems a faff for something so simple and in practice you heat up manually and then turn down to low power. The other is lack of practical advice in the instructions.. 99 levels of power.. great, but, when you first use it, it would be nice to know how to use them and what temperatures they are set to achieve.. what power to boil your potatoes.. scramble your eggs or fry your steak. Great appliance but please update the instructions and firmware to make it more user friendly... hence only 4 star.. Will be 5+ star when they get that sorted.
